School Day

The school day starts at 8:50am prompt. It is important that children start the day well and their morning routine starts the moment they come into school. The school is open to parents and children from 8:30am. Children remain the responsibility of the parents/carers until the whistle blows at 8:50am.

The school day finishes at 3:15pm for EYFS and 3:20pm for KS1 and KS2.

Breaktimes are as follows:

  • 10:15am: EYFS and KS1
  • 10:30am: KS2
  • 2:00pm: EYFS and KS1 

Lunchtimes are as follows:

  • 11:45am - 12:45pm - EYFS
  • 12pm - 1pm - Year 1 and 2
  • 12:15pm - 1:15pm - Years 3 and 4
  • 12:20pm - 1:20pm – Year 5 and 6

Daily routine

Children will come in and register at 8:50am. They will then complete a morning task before going to Collective Worship for 9am. During the morning, the children will be taught Maths and English. In the afternoons they will be taught Religious Education, Science, History, Geography, Art, Design Technology, Music, Computing, Personal, Social, Health Education and French (KS2 only). The children will also practice their mental arithmetic, handwriting and spellings throughout the week.
